Many times when a family decides to buy a house they drive from sub-division to sub-division looking at big box houses. Many of these homes lack character and don't reflect the family's needs and preferences. Consider all of the activities that take place in every specific room on a daily basis. How could I design the laundry room to better accommodate my weekly laundry chores? How large should I build my closets and what kind of built-in cabinets do I want? Do I want cubby holes for shoes and how many clothes bars should I have? All of these things should be taken into consideration in the planning stage, so when the construction process begins, all of the questions have been answered. The use of a skilled designer or architect can be very helpful.    At the end of the process, after all of the careful planning and hard work, you will have created something that you can be proud of, and it will be designed to accommodate your family's busy lifestyle.
